Laura Jaconi (Vera Farmiga ) is a single mother living with her troubled young son Henry (Lewis MacDougall ) living in Seattle. One day she gets a phone call from her pot dealer father JACK (Christopher Plummer), who has been kicked out of his retirement home in Texas. Now he wants her daughter to take him to his another daughter JoJo (Kristen Schaal) house in LA. On their ride to new house, Jack uses Henry to sell off his copious supply of marijuana.
